The History of Jewllery
Some of history’s oldest recording of jewellery has its origin in Ancient Egypt. Gold was rare and was worn by men in the form of crowns, rings and armbands to exhibit masculine power and social status. While women wore splendid pieces in the form of gold bracelets, pendants, necklaces and earrings, precious stones and gems were considered to be more feminine.
