DAVID UNGAR is a 6th generation jeweller with a passion for his craft. His Father and Grandfather were born in the small Czechoslovakian town of Munkacs, who worked extremely hard to achieve their dream and became distinguished and celebrated jewellers.
David too began his career from humble beginnings. After a 4 year apprenticeship in Johannesburg South Africa, he moved to Antwerp, Belgium where he worked in a diamond factory, then on to Italy and the UK to gain a broad experience of the intricacies of the jewellery industry. 40 years on he has sold over 25 million pieces of gold jewellery priced from £10 to £150,000.
David’s jewellery is produced in his own factory in Johannesburg by a select team of Craftsmen who all share his passion, pride and desire to create spectacular pieces. His jewellery is sold in the UK, Africa, Australia, United States, Europe and The Middle East and now with the launch of David Ungar London his collections are available online exclusively from the David Ungar Boutique.
